Application Procedure:
1. Download the registration form.
2. Deposit the registration fee into the bank (Complete the registration form and fax / email / WhatsApp it along with the bank receipt (please indicate the participant’s name, the competition they are participating in, the group, and contact phone number) to our center.)

Objective:
Encourage and cultivate children’s comprehensive artistic intelligence development, stimulate creative thinking, enhance children’s interest in visual arts, and provide a platform to showcase their talents, promoting cultural and artistic development.
Application Fee: HK$300 per item
Eligibility: Competition category (according to June 27, 2025)
3 years old, 4 years old, 5 years old, 6-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-18 years old
Competition Items and Details:
1. Painting Item

Western painting (The work uses A3 drawing paper and any paints, and the size does not exceed 297mm x 420mm)

Oil painting (the work uses canvas and oil/plastic paint, and the size does not exceed 297mm x 420mm)

Chinese Ink painting (The work uses rice paper and ink paint, and the size does not exceed 297mm x 420mm)
– Unlimited subject matter and creation.
– Participants can only submit one piece of work per project.
– The entry form must be affixed to the back of all entries, and the name of the work must be filled in.
– Entries must be created by the participant. If they are not created by the participant, they will be disqualified from the competition, and the paid entry fee will not be refunded.
– All artworks will not be returned.
– Handling fee and postage HK$60 are required to return the work.
– Drawing lines, overall layout, color use and creative ideas.
2. Photographic item
– Unlimited subject matter and creation.
– Participants can only submit one piece of work.
– The entry form must be affixed to the back of all entries, and the name of the work must be filled in.
– Entries must be created by the participant. If they are not created by the participant, they will be disqualified from the competition, and the paid entry fee will not be refunded.
– All artworks will not be returned.
– Post-processed works are not accepted.
– The size of each photo is 8 x 10 inches (8R) photos.
– Handling fee and postage HK$60 are required to return the work.
3. Calligraphy item

– Participants only need to submit works written on rice paper, and the size does not exceed 290mm x 450mm.

Prize:
1. Score sheets will be given to all competitors at the end of the competition.
2. The First-, Second-, or Third-prize winners will be awarded with trophies and certificates in each group.
3. “The Outstanding Award” winner must score 80 marks or above and completed in a group of more than 10 competitors.
4. “Award for Excellence Guidance School” will be presented to school with the highest aggregate scores and the most winners.
5. “Award for Active Participant (School)” will be presented to school with the most competitors.
6. “Award for Excellence Guidance Tutor” will be presented to teacher with the highest aggregate scores and the most winners.
7. “Award for Active Participant (Tutor)” will be presented to teacher with the most competitors.
8. Other competitors are recognized based on their final scores:
“Certificate of Merit“: a score of 70 or above
“Certificate of Participation“: a score of 69 or below
9. Adjudicators have the rights of deciding not to give any prize or to eliminate the prizes of the group if the skills demonstrated by the competitors have not reached the winning standard.
10. The Organizing Committee and adjudicators have the authority to make changes on the prize and grouping arrangement in accordance to the competitors’ standard and number of competitors in each particular group without prior notice.
Registration Instructions:
1. Each competitor may register for multiple different competitions at the same time, but only one piece of work can be submitted per item.
2. All artworks must be accompanied by a submission form. Additionally, names should be written on the back of their work, not on the work itself.
3. Artwork must be completed by the competitors themselves. If the artwork is not completed by the competitors, they will be disqualified and the application fee will not be refunded.
4. All submitted artworks are non-returnable.
5. Handling fee and postage of HK$60 must be paid if request for returning artworks (Winning works will be returned only after the public exhibition is completed).
6. If submitting by mail, please ensure sufficient postage is paid before mailing. The Centre will not accept any mail with insufficient postage, and such mail will be handled by Hongkong Post. For postage calculation, please refer to the Hongkong Post website (http://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/postage_calculator/index.html).
Competition Arrangements and Other Rules
- The publishing copyright of the winning works belongs to the organizer.
- Personal information (including name and school name) should be filled out on the entry form and should not appear front in the work.
- Participants must clearly fill in the entry category.
- Entries must be original and have not been published, published or the same type of competition in any way or channel.
- All entries must not be published before the results are announced.
- After receiving the registration fee, the registration process must take effect.
- All unpaid registration forms, attached promissory notes, incorrect information, incorrect or incomplete fillings will not be accepted or disqualified before or after the competition, and the fees paid will not be refunded.
- After the participant registers, the registration fee will not be refunded.
- All participants must abide by the rules set by the organizer. In case of violation, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant.
- Score sheets will be given to all participants at the end of the competition.
- Adjudicators have the rights of deciding not to give any prize or to eliminate the prizes of the group if the skills demonstrated by the participants have not reached the winning standard.
- The Organizing Committee and adjudicators have the authority to make changes on the prize and grouping arrangement in accordance to the competitors’ standard and number of participants in each particular group without prior notice.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the rights to cancel any competition level if necessary. In case of any cancellation, the affected candidates will be notified and the application fee will be refunded.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to amend or rescind any regulation, award or judge pertaining to the Competition without any prior notice.
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any competitor who fails to comply with the requirements, regulations and eligibility set by the Organizer.
- The Organizing Committee has the exclusive rights of the competitors’ image, information, and work. All of the information and recordings may be used for advertising purposes.
- All copyrights belong to the organizer.
- The organizing committee reserves the right of final decision in case of uncertainty or dispute.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to amend or rescind any regulation, award or judge pertaining to the Competition without any prior notice.
- In the event of a dispute, the Chinese version of this prospectus is definitive.
